Thank YOU All for your kindness...your thoughts, prayers and well wishes for Mom, me and our family. We brought her home from the hospital! She is in less pain and happy to be home. Still waiting on some test results, and hopeful for a good report!

Live video from your iPhone using Ustreamhttp://robotics.mnmsa.org/webcast/
They are in the first match today at 9:00 a.m.(CDT). Then compete in matches 14, 24, 37, 52 and 58 today. Tomorrow the qualifying rounds continue, they are in 69, 74 and 98.
I'm behind on my work for April's updates at the 1800 House and Early Work Mercantile...so I'll have busy hands today as I cheer Nick and his team mates on!

Moving right along...
I snapped this pic late last night before pushing the frame aside...I plan to pull a few more loops this evening after the dishes are done. It's always a treat when the design actually comes together like it was in my head! My sketch and watercolor study pleased me...but you never really know how the wools will play together...
More soon ~L

A few more loops...
Happy Thursday Dear Friends...
Sunny and bright here today with temps climbing to near 45 today! Tho' they say reality will hit overnite and we'll be lucky to get back to double digits!
Old Chalk Deer is nearly finished...in between dyepots today I will pull the last few loops! My client wanted the colors to be similar to the original picture in Edyth's book "My Red Cape" I've had great fun mixing textures and my hand-dyeds to achieve a really close match.
Hope your day is sunny and bright, too! ~L

On the frame update...
Just had to share this sweet face with you!
It's a cool grey Sunday afternoon here in the North Country...but I'm snuggly warm under this growing rug...enjoying some quiet time hooking.
It will be another busy week with physical therapy appointments for Dad and the day to day stuff here at the studio...a huge wool order is due early this week...
...new wool...just like Christmas all over again! I'm especially excited because one of my all time favorites...Khaki Plaid...is back again! I updated the website last night so everything is set for the wooly arrival!
Hope you are having a peace-filled Sunday and wishing you a wonderful week ~L
