I LOVE your backgrounds! So lush and rich! The texture really works well in the pineapple. I like the way that you have bought the colors out to the border; fun, whimsical and playful.
Thank you ALL for your kind comments! Gayle...It looked a bit like an Easter Egg when I started...but I "practiced what I preach" and just kept on pulling loops...turned out just right!
Tony...You have a gift with words...thank you! The colors in the border of this block will repeat in the other 3 sections of the rug...I think it will all come together nicely.
Pati Jane...I'm finishing in the dyepots today and then on to getting the kits together. Running a bit behind my plan...but will have them out in the mail soon!
Blustery and bitterly cold here...a good day to warm up the studio with the dyepots! ~L
