Just read the article about your work in Early American Life. Have always had a deep interest in fibers and fiber art and LOVE hooked Rugs. I am a retired Art Teacher and a historic site volunteer. It is wonderful that you modern artist/artisans continue the deeply moving arts of living practiced by our ancestors.
ReplyDeleteMy art is painting and was printmaking. The meditative quality of these activities is worth its weight in gold, especially in times like this! My grandmothers were seamstress and dressmaker and I inherited their live of fabric.
